The back tail lights are burnt out ( I guess you would say there are no running lights. The brake lights are working and the turn signals are working but no back lights when driving at night

back lights do not appear to be burned out without taking the cover off; the front lights are all on except one small one on driver's side (small round one).

This is usually the headlight switch or a fuse. Both lights would not both go out at the same time. I don't think that the Suzuki has a fuse, so it is more than likely the headlight switch.

While the brake lights and turn signals work, the tail lights do not.

The earth connection is simply the chassis ground on the vehicle. "Ground" and "earth" refer to exactly the same thing. Either the light swith is bad ,you have a fuse that looks good but is actually burnt out,or the wire that runs back to the tail lights is broken.

Tail lights work but not brake lights 93 toyota camry

The brake light side of the bulbs is powered by the brake switch and travels thru the turn signal switch.
If the third brake light works, I would guess the problem is in the turn signal switch.

Have a 2003 Chevrolet silverado, right rear tail light does not burn when lights are on, this light will burn when brake is applied or when turn signal is used. What is the problem and how can it be fixed?

There are 2 filiments in the light bulb. One is for running lights and the other is for brake and turn signal lights. Simply replace the bulb and you should be ok.

Back turn signals aand brake lights are out, but the the tail light s work. What does this mean and how can i fix it. i checked the fuses and did not see any burnt out

Because the brake and tail(or running lights) are two different circuits. You should find that the stop and turn-signals have their own fuse. Even if the fuse looks okay it may not be. But if you replace the fuse and it still doesn't work try the four-way flasher. If the lights in the rear flash and the brake lights still don't work. Your problem then becomes a power distribution problem. If you know about test lights and troubleshooting this type of problem check for power at the connections for the stop/turn-signal fuse. The power side of the fuse should be the one that has two wires hooked up to it.

My tail lights dont work or break lights but when i depress the break pedle my cargo break light works...i drive a 02 GMC serrira....my hazards, turn signals, and back up lights work

It sounds like you have burnt out bulbs. All those other lights that you say work are all different bulbs. The tail light bulbs have dual filament so that they can perform the tail light and brake light function. You should change out your bulbs and that will probably solve your problem.
