OEM shafts are typically not greased or servicable. When it is time to replace u-joints, the aftermarket joints often have grease fittings.

My 2006 Ford Ranger w/ 3.0 v6 vhexk engine lite is on . My mechanic says his machine that he plugs in says its the egr valve but he says 2006 doesnt have one . Whats the correct answer?

I went google and typed in-- location of egr valve on ford 3L v6 engine 2006--- and got pages showing exactly where it is
the model that the engine is doesn't really matter as it is the assembled engine that has the egr valve, so 3L v6 engine will have one regardless if it is a ranger , taurus or what ever.
part number is 18734-05059775 and has a listed price of $52.33
( parts geek.com)
another point is that with every code there are several causes for a code number
I might suggest an accredited service center with experience on your make of vehicle might be a better place to go

LOOKING FOR THE BEST WAY TO LIFT A 2007 FORD RANGER FX4 ROUGHLY A 2" LIFT FRONT AND REAR.

Go for a supension lift. Rancho and skyjacker are two of my favorites. A body lift will allow for bigger tires but you can run into shift linkage problems. With a suspesion lift you get the bigger tires without having to modify little else

2006 ford ranger can not bead the slave cylinder

I dont want to make you feel silly but it seems like you loosened a grease nipple and not a bleed screw. A small amount of fluid (if the slave cylinder is not new) is normal. Their is no way grease can get into the fluid system. Take off the feed pipe to the slave cylinder Try pumping the pedal or use your vacuum pump from there.Get someone to pump the pedal holding your finger on the end of the pipe to see if their is any preasure comming that far if not its your master cylinder if you have preasure check the slave cylinder again for a bleed screw. It seems more like the master cylinder unless it ran out of fluid otherwise how did air get in. You should also check if the slave cylinder or the bar comming from it is adjustable Sometimes their is a screw on the bar others have oblong holes to move the slave cylinder back or forward
