323 astina lack of power automatic

Hm, this happened in my Camry (yes, a different car, but...), and it was failure of the 1-2 shift solenoid in the tranny. This meant it could not find low gears, and felt sluggish, like yours. That component is almost universal in autos, so have it checked out.

Mazda 323 1994 sedan loose power on 4th and 5th gear topspeed is 100kph

Check the engines compression. This has been known to happen on real tierd engines that have poor compression, with it comes lack of power from the combustion cycles. If the rpm is raising quickly, and speed isn't, your clutch could be slipping.

Have a 1999 mazda 323 that keeps chugging in every gear, have changed plugs twice and petrol is fine

traced the fault to the mass air flow sensor which would need replaced, was advised to use a carb spray to clear any debree 1st and see what happens, well cars going great now so a 4 quid spray has saved me 150 quid
