Question about 1996 Dodge Caravan
Can somebody please advise me on what to do as "service engine soon" came up on the dashboard of my dodge 1996 caravan 3.0engine. I have changed the oil and oil filter, checked the pCV valve which is working well. what else can I do as the light is still on
GO GET A OBD 2 SCANER AND A HAYNES MANUAL
OR FINDE A FRIEND THAT GOT ONE, THAT IS WHAT I DID I GOT A 1996 CARAVAN AND MY DAD HAS 60 CAVANS IN IS BACK YARD HE LOVES THEM

Check the throttle posititon sensor on the throttle body

This is only an idiot light. It means that you are due for a 3000 mile service interval. If you have oil and water and a good batter, then ignore it. To turn the message off ( actually to re-set it) turn off the ignition key (assume you are stopped). Press the trip odometer re-set button (on the speedometer) and then turn on the key. The friggin message will go away for another 3000 miles.
