Question about 2002 Ford Explorer
This problem is caused by a defective door switch or security system module, the most likely and most common problem is one of the door switches (one in each door two in the rear hatch) senses the door is being opened without a key or remote signal, the only way to track this problem down is to have the local Ford dealer scan the system, the scanner will show what intrusion sensor is creating the unwanted alarm set.
