Intermitent wiper fault on kord KA - Fiesta Ford Cars & Trucks

Check out the brushes on the wiper motor. Bad or dirty brushes will cause intermittent operation before they fail completely.

the wiper motor seems to be defective, test that first

First rewire the immobilizer to work properly ,on the ignition .
Check that the wiper motor and wiper linkage is in proper sync,and or adjust

your windsheild wiper problem is the wiper module. replace the windsheild wiper module and you'll fix this problem.

there are several for sale on ebay for $50.00

More then likely, the switch arm will have to be replaced, everything that contyrols your wipers and cruise are built into that left arm.

I performed a Web search using "lincoln wiper intermittent speed box" . There were diagrams and parts showing components. You should be able to find what you need after reading your search material. I once changed out a similar part in a 1984 Ford Thunderbird. My part was hanging behind the instrument panel and about midway up in the drivers' dash cavity.

try taking a wire and ground the motor housing(alot of times they lose their ground which affects the intermitent wiper operation
