SOURCE: horn doesn't work on 2005 Pontiac Vibe. Can't

On the 06 Vibe the horn is located just to the right of center, almost below the hood latch, in front of the radiator. It looks like a small round speaker...
check to make sure the wire is plugged in, it can come lose or even fall out. it is easy to check and fix.

If that does not work, my best guess would be that either the horn is blown or the wiring is messed up.

good luck.

Look underneath the dashboard, just to the right of the steering column. You will see a black rectangle with the fuse diagram printed on the cover.

SOURCE: Installing a new PCM on a 2005 Pontiac Vibe

The new PCM on these has to be programmed either by the people that built it or by someone who has the capability to reprogram it [usually a dealership]. The computer can be programmed before it is installed and usually they'll need the VIN#, mileage, etc to do this properly. I don't believe the vehicle will run if you put in an unprogrammed PCM. It's very rare for one of these PCM's to fail so make sure that you haven't overlooked some other problem that is mimicing a bad ECM before ordering one as they are quite expensive.

If the there is an error in the control module timer, a DTC P2610 sets.
