Question about 1999 Dodge Intrepid
I would take a good look at the egr valve and the controls if its vac controled if its all electric then just the valve itself, this sounds like the valve may be staying stuck open and causing engine to stall also make sure the ports going into intake are clean and not getting plugged with carbon build up, this is where i would start, this should take care of the egr code and maybe the vacuum leak also.
