Question about 1996 Volvo 850
Sometimes there is a card in the jacket with the owner's manual with the code on it. It would be credit card sized if it were there. Otherwise you will need to make a call to your local dealer, and hope they don't need more than the VIN number to get the codes. Many times they need the serial number from the stereo but they will have to call the tech support to get an unlock code. If they do get it unlocked, be sure to write down the code and keep it in a safe place, like with the owner's manual.
