The sensors located on the manifold are the oxygen sensors. They tell the computer to enrich or lean out the amount of fuel going into the combustion chamber for increased fuel economy and performance. Here are some instructions to change it(them, if there is more than 1). 1. Make sure the vehicle is cold. You can injure yourself and get serious burns if you touch the exhaust if it is hot. 2. Locate and unplug the electrical wire(s). 3. With the proper size wrench or a special tool, which you can get at your local parts store, Loosen and remove the sensor. The installation of the new part(s) is reverse of removal.

The 6VE1 engines coolant temp sensor is in the cross over housing on right hand front section of head just under throttle body (ECU). From memory the 6VD1 (older) engine is in similar position. There are 2 sensors one for engine ECU & one for Temp gauge the single wire one is for temp gauge which is in same cross over housing but left side.

91 trooper isuzu 4 cyl,runs bad when cold,where is the sensor/

The coolant temp. sensor is located under the intake manifold at the #1 intake port. It is not easy to access. Check the connector for corrosion.
It maybe accessable through the right wheel opening over the tire. Good luck

1991 isuzu trooper 4 cyl. runs terrible when cold.does it have a cold sensor & where is it on the engine?

If you have a 2.6 4ZE1 engine the coolant temp. sensor is located under the intake manifold at the runner for #1 cylinder. It maybe hard to access. Try going throught the right side wheel opening over the tire it is a tight fit.

Where is the transmission fill plug located on a isuzi trooper

On the transmission pan. Lower one is a drain the upper one is the fill level plug. Crank up the engine and let it idle for 3 minutes. Then remove the upper plug, if none comes out squirt some in if some comes out let it drain until it stops. This is the upper plug, not the lower one.

Isuzi trooper diesel jerking when driving

Hello, it is possible that the pump is going bad but, it sounds more like water in the fuel or a dirty filter or dirty injectors. I would try a fuel additive first to see if that will clear your problem. Let me know if you need any help. Good luck.
