if you didn't bench bleed, there may be air stuck in the slave. Try this trick: Use a screwdriver or other tool to push the slave piston in. Open the bleeder and push the piston in, then close bleeder before releasing piston. Repeat until you get the air out of the slave.

Just did it. Best method was through the opening in the shifter cover and a super-long set of ratchet extensions. This lets you sit in the driver's seat and do it.

Just replaced clutch an pressure plate in 95 Honda

The clutch can sometimes be very difficult to bleed and diverse methods tend to have more success, such as reverse bleeding.

In this instance, assuming the clutch pedal, return springs and so forth are in good condition, it would seem the clutch master cylinder is probably faulty.

It may be that the brake system is contaminated with moisture, rust, or both. Bleed out or purge out all old brake fluid as a precaution, use a hand pump vacuum unit if possible to purge old fluid if not available thoroughly bleed out the system. The other possibility is that one of the reluctor sensors located behind the rotor's splash guard may loaded with dirt or just be faultly, purchase an ABS reluctor pick up sensor for the wheel that you think might be the culprit and change it out.

How do I adjust clutch on 1995 Honda Passport?

You don't. They are hydraulic. Check the slave cylinder for leaks or if you need to fill the reservoir. You might need to bleed the system if it continues and you find no leaks.

Need to know how to bleed clutch of 1995 honda passport. Do- it - yourself instructions. The clutch pedal is pushed down with no resistance at all. Once pushed down i can start the car but the clutch will...

Fill the clutch reservoir with new brake fluid and kneel down beside the car, reach in with your hand and pump the clutch pedal up and down until it starts to return on it's own. Check the reservoir level, hop in the car and pump the pedal about twenty times with you foot, the clutch will self bleed and you'll be able to shift. If there is a leak somewhere, this problem will reoccur until the cause of the leak is fixed.

Need to pump clutch to start

try bleeding the lines, if you pump the clutch its compressing the fluid and the sensor is picking up that the clutch is disinguaged, if theres air in the lines the sensor wont register the clutch position.

HOW TO BLEED YOUR COOLANT SYSTEM IN HONDA PASSPORT?

quite easy that one. if you locate a small screw on the top of your radiator usually next to your filing cap, this will enable you to release the pressure from a warming engine but trying to do this and keep from burning hands as the engine has to be running at time is quite hard to do. but basically all you have to do is loosen and allow all bubbles to stop before tioghtnening up again this should survice.

Bleeding the clutch line

It sounds like you have air in the system. Either they did not bleed it correctly or you have a leak in the system.
If you paid someone to fix your car, have it towed back to the garage and bled correctly or leak fixed. If a friend installed your parts, find a new friend. Just kidding.

CLUTCH

That clutch can bled by using the bleed screw located just aft of the engine/tranny union where the clutch line enters the tranny. Loosen the screw and also loosen the cap on the hydraulic clutch reservoir. watch for fluid trickling out from the transmission end of the line, when this is confirmed, than close the bleed screw, cover the resevoir, make sure theres enough fluid, and pump on the clutch pedal a few times. You can repeat these steps again if necessary to remove and extra air trapped in the system.
