Question about 2005 Maserati Quattroporte

1 Answer

I am having the same problem as a previous posting on a 2006 Maserati. I put air in my tires but the dashboard panel is still stating that I need to re-calibrate the TPMS. What's up with that? Can this be done manually by myself or do I need to take it to the dealer. HELP??? Also, how much air pressure (PSI) should I maintain in these tires?

You should have about 32 psi. in the tires. If he error doesn't clear then it is a lot deeper than tire pressure. It is the computer that registers the tire pressure. It is called an ECU. It is the engine control unit. It is the computer that registers your tire pressure. It could also be the sensor on you wheel that measures your tire pressure.

How do I reset the low tire pressure warning light on my 2006 highlander

Once ALL tires have the proper amount of air pressure in them the computer will reset the light. This may take as long as a couple of days (depending on how long you drive the car). Some take as long as 30 minutes of continuous driving to reset.

However, you need to be sure that ALL tires are properly inflated, EVEN THE FULL-SIZED SPARE, if you have a full-sized spare tire.

I have a Maserati dashboard message that I don't know what it means.

The vehicle computer can sense low voltage, so is warning the driver the care is about to fail. Replace the battery with a new one and you should be good to go. The computer will reset once the power is cut off during the battery switch, and reboots during the new battery power up.;

What does it mean when the icon on the dashboard that looks like an upside down horseshoe with an exclamation point in the middle lights up?

that means that you need air in one of you tires. you have the TPMS or tire pressure monitor system when your tires are below the ideal pressure it will light the icon in the dash. the way to tell if you have this it to look at the tire stems the place where you put in the air if there silver you do have it. if there black you don't
there should also be a yellow light on the dash that comes on when you turn the key on or start the car that reads "TPMS"
hope that this helps

I recently had a flat tire fix but the control panel still shows the low air light indicator on. How do I reset the control panel? thank you

Hmm, if i remember right, it's one of three locations. The fuse box panel, under the steering colum, or in the glove box. It should state in the manual where it is located. Be sure that all your tires are about the same. Cuz if it's not, it will trip the light again right away.
