What Is a fix for a P1633 on an 02 ford F150 4.6L TROUBLECODE will not clear

P1633 means that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected low voltage on the keep alive memory circuit. This is the circuit that supplies constant battery voltage to the keep alive memory portion of the PCM so it can retain information regarding fuel control, idle control and transmission control adaptive strategies to name a few. If the battery is disconnected or voltage drops below 10.5 volts this code will be set. If the battery has not been disconnected then the circuit will need to be checked for opens or high resistance in the wire, shorts, blown fuse, high voltage r/f interference from ignition or charging system components, or the PCM being being faulty itself

My 1999 ford f150 has amiss fire and the p1633 code came up but the service engine light is not on

P1633 means the battery was disconnected or became discharged enough to be unable to keep the battery-backed memory in the control module alive.

If the alternator is failing intermittently, it may not always keep the battery charged enough to properly run the engine, which could cause misfires. Ensure the battery and its terminal connections are in good shape.

I am trying to connect the two facts you listed. Your facts may not be enough to find the actual cause of the misfire, however. Certainly a disconnected or otherwise discharged battery will cause the P1633 code.

It has a cheek enigen on and give the code P1633

When the Taurus PCM (Powertrain Control Module)(aka "the car's computer"), sees 9V DC (or less),
it sets the code P1633, so it means your battery's voltage was low recently. But since the computer
retains the code until it is reset, the battery voltage may be OK now. This is typical for cars
that have sat for awhile, and the tiny current drain of the clock slowly drains the battery until
the voltage drops below 9 Volts. Normal car Battery voltage is 12 Volts.
Fix: check the battery (with a DMM (digital multimeter)), and reset the code (with a code reader).
Workaround: have Advance/Autozone/PepBoys check the battery (free) and ignore the code.

04 f150 code p1633

I looked up the code you posted, and came back as kam (keep alive memory). It's a series of battery powered memory locations in the computor which allows it to store input failures identified during normal operation for use in later diagnostic routines.KAM even adopts some calibration parameters to compensate for changes in the vehicle system The only way that I know of to fix it is replace the computor, but have it checked out first. Hope this helped.
