Camshaft position sensor how do I change this not the crankshaft shaft position sensor cam 98 Tahoe 4x4 5.7

I have a 96 mazda van and although I was getting camshaft position errors, it does not even have a camshaft sensor. It generates the signal from the distributor location.
BUT I do not know if the same is true for your Tahoe. Find a repair manual in a library and look it up if you don't get a helping answer here soon.

Where do wires from battery go to on 98 elantra

the positive lead has the larger terminal on it as the battery posts are different sizes. the small terminal goes on the small post and the wire runs to the engine or body as the earth .. Positive leads are coloured red while negative leads are black.

2008 Tahoe has no power at all lights, engine, bells all dead

First step check the battery and the connections , chevrolet has a common problem with the negative battery terminal getting corroded. Remove the negative terminal and inspect the metal lead in the cable , clean and repair as necessary, with the negative cable removed perform the same inspection on the positive cable. If issue still persists further troubleshooting will be required.

98 tahoe put in rebuilt trans. now wont start or even crank

Adjust the gear shift cable so that the park position sensor will move to the right position then it will crank. Right now it thinks it is engaged in some gear.

98 Chevy Tahoe runs great, but from time to time will not turn over, I leave it for the day and it starts fine. Have changed fuel pump, distributor and cap, starter, battery, plugs and wires. No idea why...

When this happens check for power on the s terminal At the starter while someone holds the key in the crank position. I suspect a faulty ignition switch.

Why won't my 98 tahoe start after it was sitting for a year? i bought a new battery so that is not it.

Did you put stablizer in the gas before storing it? Does the fuel pump run for 2 seconds when the ign is turned ? Have you checked the air cleaner for debris? Do you have spark? You must have air/fuel/spark to start.

2001 Chevrolet Tahoe won't start

Set your multimeter to 20 volts and put red lead to the positive out of the alt. and the black lead to the neg. side of the battery or the frame.

It should read 13.8 - 14.6 volts. Don't try to test the AMPs, as this will blow out your multimeter.
