Installingwater pump 1993 honda accord

If you sit on a driver's seat, the timing belt and the water pump is located on your left most side on the engine under the hood, behind the main pulley. The main pulley accommodates the alternator belt, ac belt and power steering belt, if any.
The water pump and timing belt are both enclosed in the timing belt case.

My honda is allmost 60k miles what kind of service i need

I believe that 60K service will normally include:

1. Engine oil and filter
2. Transmission oil and maybe filter
3. Valve train adjustment
4. New belts for alternator, power steering, air conditioning

I would have the brake fluid changed every two years to remove moisture and prevent rust. I also change the power steering fluid.

Be sure that genuine Honda transmission fluid is used or else the shifting may become wierd. Don't let the shop use ordinary Dexron with an additive like Lubeguard because it won't be the same.

Some shops may also recommend a new timing belt at 60K, although Hondas now require the change only at 90K. If the water pump is driven by this belt, get it replaced as well because when a pump siezes it will snap the belt.

Both. It has a timing belt, and a balance shaft belt. Plus it has an A/C belt, Power steering belt, and an alternator belt.

I have a 92 honda accord LX. How do i remove and replace the alternator?

Unplug the battery
Loosen and move the power steering pump out of the way (don't disconnect the hoses to it)
Loosed the bolts on the alternator (should be a 14mm on the top bolt, then there will be another lower (hard to reach 12mm bolt) where it pivots. Then, on the lower front of the alternator, there will be two 10mm bolts visible for the alternator belt tension bracket, loosen the RIGHT one as that will release the tension on the belt. You may need to bang or pry to get the alternator to swing out even if you have all the bolts out. They like to lock in there.

Is there a tension pully for the serpintine belt on a 92 honda accord

no, you set the tension by slackening the bolts on the alternator and using a long handle screwdriver wedged between engine and alternator tighten so that the longest part of the belt between pulleys has about 1/2 to 3/4 inch slack too tight and the belt will snap very soon....too slack and the belt will slip...

Belt name

I have a 92 Accord, and there are only 2 belts that he can be referring to, one is the drive belt, which spins (drives) the power steering pump, a/c compressor, water pump, etc. the other is probably the one he is referring to, that's the timing belt. Honda recommends it be changed every 90k miles. If this belt isn't changed every 90k, it may break, and the accord has what is called an 'interference-' engine. This means that if the belt breaks, the valves and the pistons will strike one another, causing extreme damage to the engine. Note that if it is time to change the timing belt, u should also change the water pump, as it is easy to do at this time, and will cost much more down the road if u have to change it later, paying someone to disassemble much of what was done to replace the belt. Let me know if u have any other questions, or if I didn't answer your question clearly.

Inatallation 92 honda accord power steering pump

Hey, here's the procedure, disable air bag, if equipped w/ one, disconnect the pump return hose from the reservoir and place the end in a large container. Plug the port in the reservoir. Start the engine and turn the steering wheel lock to lock several times, until fluid stops running from the hose. Turn off engine immediately. Re-attach hose. Disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses at the pump. Remove the drive belt. Remove the mounting bolts/nuts and remove pump.
Install in reverse order. Adjust belt tension, fill ps reservoir and bleed any air from the system (to bleed air from system, fill reservoir, start engine and allow to idle, turn wheel from side to side all the way several times. Shut off, fill if necessary.
. Tighten bolts to : Thru bolt 30 ft lbs., mounting nut 16 ft lbs.
