Question about Ford Crown Victoria
Hi
If your A/C has Automatic Temp. Control the fuse that pops is Fuse #15 -15A, for Manual A/C Temp. Control, the fuse is #103 - 40A, the problem may be a lose or corroded Ground connection.
Check the Ground Junction on the Front of Right Front Fender Apron, the Blower Motor, Headlamps Circuit, Engine Cooling Fan Motor, among other things get their ground from that Junction. If the Ground contact is not nice and tight, the Blower Motor will overheat, as soon as you add more load to the circuit, the fuse blows to avoid damage to the components.
Another things that can cause this is the Blower Motor Speed Controller or a short on the Headlights/Cooling Fan Motor wiring harness.
