SOURCE: where is the fuse box in the 06 chevy uplander

I have a chevy uplander and you have to open the passenger door and its on the side of the dash, to the right of the glove box. You will notice a small rounf opening with just enough room for 2 fingers to go in. the whole side will come off when you pull it.

06 Chevy Trailblazer fuse box is overheating and killing the engine.

Hi. I would check the fuse lay out to any fuse card you have for this vehicle. The fuse box should not get that hot but one circuit may be and see if you have a hot fuse. Hot fuse would determine something on that circuit not ok. Good luck.

2006 Chevy Trailblazer...the top "third"

Brake light problem - if bulbs and fuses (#34 and #43 in rear fuse panel) are good, then only other possibility are the circuit boards where all the tail lights are located.

Noise coming from rear is the mode control actuator in the rear HVAC unit, it is trying to move a stuck blend door.

Went to start my 06 trailblazer the air was on the fan was blowing radio worked lights worked but wouldnt start went and bought new battery changed it now air wont blow threw vents only on defrost and on...

There are two possible reasons, the HVAC system needs to recalibrate itself or one of the HVAC door actuators has gone bad or is stuck.
To recalibrate the system, set all HVAC controls to their OFF or CCW positions. Disconnect the battery for a few minutes, then reconnect. Do not touch any of the HVAC controls for about 2 -3 minutes. Then see if the systems works OK.
If this does not work, the dash will need to be disassembled to access the door actuators.

This is the first time I have heard of this problem. It's not to say it's not common. Try the salvage yard first obviously cause its cheaper. If problem presists contact the dealer for advice.
