There is a metal pin that hold the ignition switch in place it sounds like it came loose thats the only thing i know that will prevent the key from coming out. try taking it apart and look for this metal pin you have to push out or back in place

Parked 200 jeep grand cherokee at an angle-cannot get the key to turn and the steering wheel locked up as well as the wheels

You have the pull the wheel in the same direction that the wheel is turned and pull like heck until the key releases. Pull and turn the key at the same direction. You have to release the tension. There is no other way to release it.

Can not turn key. pulled in driveway turned wheelswent to start car and the key will not turn. 2001 town car

to get the key to turn you will have to carry out some steps! if the steering lock is on you will need to rock the steering wheel while trying to turn the key, as your turning the key put some pressure on it to remove it at the same time, in other words your putting pressure on the key to turn to the on position and trying to free up the tumblers at the top of the barrel, by pulling it out, stick too it, it may take some work, when you get it to the on position and started, DONT PULL IT OUT UNTIL YOU GET IT FIXED disconnect the battery every day if you have to otherwise you'll have to do it again

2002 mazda mpv, key stuck in ingition and it is in park , but the key wont turn all the way to lock, it will only go as far as acc?

Mazda MPV have problems with failing gear shift change assembly ( includes park sensor micro switch)

Pull the fuse for the hazard lights ( 10amp) - if the key comes out, then the switch is defective.

Fix the problem by installing a new change lever assembly - part number for 2000 and 2001 MPV's is LC62-46-10XE with MSRP of $246.90. 2002-2004 would be a LD47-46-10XB with MSRP of $250.40.

Can't turn the key, can't move out of park.

Yes the steering wheel lock is jamming your key lock.

try to remember whihc way the wheel was turned when parking. pull down real hard in same direction and turn key.

sometimes you have the pull on wheel very hard in either direction while turning key,****DO NOT FORCE KEY only the wheel/

Key does not turn on ignition. Won't turn at all. Cannot start the car or have it towed since it is stuck in park.

Have new key cut, stop at hardware store and get liquid wrench spray ,spray lube in cylider, then put key in and out several times briskly before trying to turn.If this does not work open hood and pop shift cable of trans selector lever and reach down and move lever to neutral position two notches.then can tow.

This is a simple fix.  Either the key is worn and you need a new key cut, or your ignition switch is worn and you need to replace it. Personally, I would start with a new key.  Before spending any money, try pulling on the steering wheel a little in both directions while turning the key.  I have seen steering locks prevent the key from turning on older cars.
