Tried to turn off seatbelt alarm under seat now airbag light is on after reconnecting

1st when the airbag light is on the system is disabled, so if u have an accident they will not work, as to the common cause read below.
When the airbag light is on it means a fault has occurred in the system and the airbag diagnostic monitor has disabled the system, the most common problem that turns the light on is a break in the connection to the steering wheel mounted airbag, this is due to a rotating ribbon contact that breaks under the steering wheel that connects the airbag to the wiring harness and the diagnostic monitor, the part is called th clock spring contact, a coiled up ribbon electrical contact that turns with the wheel

Sir my car engine start after daseboard airbag light on wthat problem?

Occasionally this will reset ghost codes. May or may not help, can't hurt. If not, you could try Autozone and see if they can extract the fault code.

I don't know how many models were affected, but owners of original 2001 Elantras are receiving silent recall notices for airbag rewiring underneath the passenger and driver's seat (controlling the side airbags). The reason being anything that is left under the seat can knock the connection loose. I had this happen several years ago and the dealer simply reconnected it. Then last Fall I received a notice stating they are installing a new wiring harness or some such thing to prevent this problem, which evidently has been common. Don't try to repair an airbag light problem yourself. Call Hyundai USA or your dealer and ask if this problem might apply.

Hop this helps

Airbag light is on; Engine Light is On, the driver side leaks when it is raining

You my friend have a bundle of problems. See if I can address them for you.
#1) Airbag light (SRS) needs to be reset by dealer or a competent shop - it's a special (and expensive reset tool) it's a safety thing. Keep in mind, if light comes back on, one of the crash sensors is loose, corroded or shorted and needs replacing. #2) Engine light - one of your cars many sensors have triggered computer as to a fault. You need to go to a good part store or shop and have them do an OBII fault scan (different from above) Autozone, Advance etc auto parts stores do these FREE. They'll tell you what needs to be replaced, thenthey can reset your light. #3) Your leak can be anything from door seal, window seal, and if you have a sunroof there's a drain near drivers side. I'd have a good shop look at it.

2003 Ford Explorer Limited. Door ajar light displays when rear defroster is turned on

I had the exact same problem with my 2003 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer. Each time I pressed the rear defrost button, the door adjar light came on. The problem was a broken ground wire in the wiring harness that ran into the drivers side door. Pull the rubber boot back on the wiring harness between the drivers door and and body and look for broken wires. There are a lot of wires so you will have to look very close. I inserted a 1 1/2 inch wire splice to reconnect the black wire and everything now works fine. This splice also fixed the problem with the drivers side- side view mirror light. I have researched and discovered that many Explorers have this problem.

I have a 2002 Mazda Millenia and the airbag light on the dash is blinking. Can you tell me possibly what the problem might be?

I had both issues, it was a wiring harness for the Airbag and the motor for the steering column.
