I cannot think of anything solid state that would malfunction when just turning a corner. However, the automatic idle speed motor may be malfunctioning. But, for your interest, here are the various engine controls that exist on the Jeep Grand Cherokee: COMPONENT LOCATIONS Fig. 1: Electronic engine control component locations - 2.5L engine shown what would cause my jeep when you turn the corner - 91074g07.gif

My 94 Grand was experiencing this and progressively became worse. Changed fuel filter and checked fuel pressure: No difference. Had my cumputer replaced and has been fine ever since.

Clean out the throttle body.

Most often, the idle air valve is what people tend to be told to go and replace. 1991 Ford Thunderbird "Idle Knob"

there may be an idle adjustment on the idle air control valve but what happens if you come to a stop and place trans in neutral before complete stop ???

point is that you could be looking at just an adjustment or possible internal transmission problem

Will a faulty E.G.R.valve on a 1988 Olds.Cut.Sup.FWD cause a hot engine to stall when stopping at corners?

well it will casue it to stall if the egr is stuck open and you stop at a light or stop sign, due to it beinge stuck open the open egr valve acts like a vacum leak,,,,ive also seen bad fuel pumps and fule filter to cause a stall while hot and cornering

Ford F150 FX4 2004 Front Hub Noise

have your cv shat checked or changed, those clunking noise is a sign of "constant velocity"CV joint failure, sometimes the noise stops because it is caused by damaged bearings. you should have it checked or changed before it fails on you, once this happens you will not be able to move your vehicle unless towed.
