With they key in the run position and the blower turned to high speed tap the blower motor with the handle end of a screwdriver. If it starts to work than you need a new blower motor.

If it doesn't you need to see if it is getting power.

You didn't post the year and what car you have so that's about all I can do for you.

The simplest thing to do would be to go to Advance Auto, or Auto Zone and have them check out the problem for you. Usually they are good about doing these things. If you want to do it yourself, start with the fuse (see if it's good), if so then see if you can run the blower diectly from the battery (only if you know what you are doing), last check the blower switch to see if it needs replacing. Chances are it's one of the three.
Good luck

Blower motor doesn't pump well even the fan switch on high

sounds like blower bearings are dried out and will eventually lock up the blower..sometimes you can spray wd40 in the blower bearings and it will work fine for a while.. also check vacuum controls to the baffle dors in the ductwork..may have some leaks there.. should hear a slight hissing if really bad..repost findings

My a/c (heater & Defrost) doesn't always work, could it be a fuse or the fan blower?

Check whether you might have bad connection or contact,or e ven bad switch.

Fan for heater and defrost has quit. Where is fuse for this as well as location of heater motor if that could be the issue?

The blower motor is located und the passenger side of the dash. There may be a trim panel that needs to removed in order to gain access to it. Once you see it turn the key on and set the blower speed to high. Tap the bottom of the blower motor with the handle of a large screwdriver. If the blower motor starts to work replace it. If it doesn't let me know and I will get you the info you need to further diagnose your problem. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Heater fan comes on intermitently (often after hitting a bump) and when it doesn't work niether does the rear defrost, could it be a loose wire or some sort of sensor?

Its common that the wire harness has melted where it connects to the blower motor resistor. To get to the blower resistor you must take off the modesty panel that hides all the wiring. The right side of this panel (to the right of the courtesy lamp) just swings out of the way on a plastic hinge, after you untuck it from the other side. It does not come all the way off, but it doesn't need to. After this, the other (larger) section removes with three screws. (This panel must be reinstalled correctly, because molded into it was part of the ductwork that routes air up to the defrost vent on that side. Make note of how it fits before you take it out.) Lay all this carefully aside where you can find them later, especially the screws.

Once this is out of the way, the real fun begins. The blower motor is behind your glove box, partially obstructed by an electronic relay box (BCM). The blower motor relay is behind the blower motor, jammed up against the firewall. Disconnect the wiring harness from the resistor and the motor; tuck it out of the way. You should not have to take the blower motor out to get to the resistor, but if it's in your way, go ahead. Be careful to move your head out from under the dash...the blower motor is heavy, and if it falls on your forehead, you'll have an embarrassing mark to explain to people for about a month. The resistor mounts with two screws.

You can replace the resistor or just replace the wire harness if it's melted which is a common issues after a few years of being heated up from the electrical current running through the wires.

Good luck and keep us posted.

The air is stuck on defrost mode/windshield. The control knob turns to other functions but it doesn't actually change.

On some models the vacuum lines work the defrost/heater controls.Check for broken or leaking hoses under dash and under hood along fire wall .I hope you can fix the problem

Heat and ac controls not working. AC is on all the time and heat doesn,t work. air only comes out on defrost.

you might need a new cluster. try changing what is called the blower motor resistor. it's about 13 bucks. remove the plastic cover under the glove box and remove 2 bolts that hold it in. it's the only thing under there with wires. swap it out bolt it up and your done
