Question about 1995 Buick LeSabre
Hello, my horn started going off when not touched. Now it gets stuck and won't go off. How can I fix this. Can I take out the fuse? If so which one is it?
My '95 LeSabre had the same problem - the contcats for the horn can stick if tehy are dirty, corroded or if the steering wheel heats up (from seititng in the sun all day). As teh contcats are always maintened, the circut is never open, thus the horn sounds constantly. Cleaning/replacing teh contacts is an option, however it requires that you remove the airbag & possibly the airbag assembley (costly). I jury rigged my horn by cutting the wires behind the dahdboard and running them to the a button mounted on the console. It's not pretty, but it works & only cost about $5.00. My mechanic said replacing the original contacts would cost uprwards of $500.00 due to the airbag assembly needing to be replaced. Apparently once you take it out its done.

Mine did that too. It eventually blew itself out and the horn relay is under the hood but not sure which one it is. I just don't have a horn.
