There are a total of four drains, two front, two rear. The front drains empty out inside of each front door jam. The rear drains empty out inside of the rear bumper. If you drain holes are clogged, use an air compressor to unclog not other as you may either break the drain tube or wack it out of place. I believe there is a technical service bulletin for Grand Prix sunroof mdels 1998-2005, In your sunroof leaks, contact your dealer for more info. Take care and hopes this works for you.

The drain tubes should be located on the four corners of the factory sunroof assembly, running down the four windshield pillars.

SOURCE: Sunroof Drain Tube

You have to remove the interior trim panels to allow you to pull down the corners of the headliner. Once you can see the sunroof track you will be able to see where the drains attach and hook them back up.

Sunroof needs adjustment over drivers seat ..leaks

Many fords have some minor adjustments of the roof, the brackets that support the Sunroof or power sunroof have very small Hex nuts you can loosen and shift the sunroof around, if its leaking it could be some other problem such as the drain tubes, there is usually 2 to 4 drains one on each corner that water drains down a tube through each door pillar, check the tube ports in the sunroof catch basin, they could be clogged with old leaves or dirt, run compressed air through each tube and verify at the other end its working.

How does water get into the rear footwell of my 2002 3dr Polo

have you a sunroof ? the sunroof has drainage tubes that run from each corner of the interior sunroof down the inside of vehicle and exit so water should escape out from sunroof well, if one of these tubes is blocked, split ,out of position it could easily let the water into the vehicle ,if you dont have a sun roof there may be a poor hatch seal letting water through the boot area into foot well , is the spare wheel in the boot area ? if so check if there is water there as well, keep me posted if you wish

Sunroof drain tubes

Define Average !!
Someone that never works on any
vehicle,then no
I would think that the drain hose came off,
if you have water on the carpet,so the headliner
has to come down to put it back on.

Pacifica sunroof & a-pillar leaking

It sounds to me that your problem is above the headliner. There are drain tubes at each corner of the sunroof pan that allow water to drain under an outside of the vehicle. It sounds like one of the front tubes has either cracked, come off, or are just plugged up and allowing the water to overflow the pan.

Sunroof is leaking in my 2001 aurora

water leaks from your sunroof are most likely due to plugged or blocked drain tubes. make sure water with flow out of all 4 drains,2 in front and 2 in rear.pine needles and leafs will pull them and cause water to flood over the guttersand into vehicle.

How does a sunroof drain

It depends on the sunroof (aftermarket or OEM) it also depends on the particular year, make and model of the vehicle we are talking about. Some sunroofs are sealed in such a fashion that they do not need drains. Others have rain channels and tubing that runs down either the "B" pillars or the "C" pillars in the vehicle. On the ones that have plastic drain tubes, you can usually see the ends of the tubes sticking out under the vehicle

How can I unclug my sunroof?

The best item is weedeater (weedwhacker or whatever you call it) nylon. It is thick enough to push blockage out and flexible to handle any bends. Also check the exit of the drain tube (behind a cover near the front wheel on my GTV6) as an accumulation of mud will prevent the gutter from draining out.
