SOURCE: No hot air from heater,

Check and see that there is heat in both heater hoses going to and from your heater. It is shows that you are getting a flow through the heater core.
If the hoses are not both hwarm then you may have restricted flow either in the hoses, the control valves or in the core.
I they are both warm then check the following.
I had a cold car that the hoses were reversed on and the hot water was going into the top of the heater core. I solved the problem by reversing the heater hoses to have the hot water going into the core on the botton and returning to the motor thru the top line.
Good Luck

SOURCE: 1998 Crown Victoria air conditioner

Fuse 9, 50A under hood, Fuse 5 15A Instrument panel. If they're ok, make sure the compressor clutch can be turned by hand (engine off, obviously). If not replace the compressor. Most common problem is the cycle switch. That should be the electrical connector on top of the accumulator. Just jump that by backprobing the connector on both sides with a pinand connect them, with the car on and a/c on if the compressor clutch engages, replace the switch. If it doesn't, try wiggling wire harness and watch it, if it engages, find a broken wire and repair it.

In a 1978 Chevrolet Impala? The category you posted is home air conditioners.

Sounds like the fan has failed.

Heat comes from the radiator via the heater core and the air circulation fan. The radiator must be full of coolant.

Cold air comes from the air conditioner compressor via a clutch drive from the serpentine belt, sometimes a separate belt. Cold air comes from the evaporator element and the air is also forced by the air circulation fan.

First thing to do is find the fan body in the bulkhead and tap the back with the handle of a hammer. Sometimes the brushes stick. Then check the fuses.

The fan for air conditioner does not come on no heater or air ?.

Fan should be on its own fuse. Check owners manual for its location and swap it out for a known good fuse. Retest.

If fuse is good then either the fan switch or the fan itself has failed.
Both require special tools and information to replace. Your vehicle is pretty new so I think you should make friends with a local mechanic now! These cars were made on the cheap so this is probably only the beginning of many pesky little issues.

No air coming out of the vents

It sounds like the heater motor may not be operating. When you switch the heater fan on can you hear the motor running? If not then it may have blown the heater fan fuse, check the fuse's and then try it again. If the fuse is ok then it could be a faulty switch or fan motor.

Try turning the air conditioner off. Some fans run while the air is on. Most cars are made so the air conditioner runs in most of the heater settings. The fan blows draws air through the condenser so the air conditioner will work right It changes the freon from a gas to a liquid.

Kia Rio....fan/heater not blowing air. Air conditioner/heater fan not working.

Check the fuses and relays for heater and AC. If good , a fusible link wire could have burned out.

Heater and Air conditioner does not go on. COuld

Could be a fuse, but try it all the way on high first. If it works on high only, it's most likely the resistor in the fan control. Hapened to mine a couple of times and Chevy charged me about $150 to fix it.

AIR CONDITIONER QUIT WORKING

Pop the hood, start the vehicle and turn the AC on. Watch the compressor, it should have a center that rotates on an off and you should hear a clicking sound. This is the compressor clutch you are looking at. If the compressor is not doing this, check the fuses for the AC. If the fuses are good, then most likely the high side sensor switch is not working, therefore the clutch never engages and the air never gets cold.

Try that and get back to me, ok?
