Have the top half of engine rebuilt. That depends on the shop doing it. It's a lot of work have to take top half of engine apart. Most likely a moderate amount of time
if you go on the internet and punch in Chrysler PT cruiser codes they will come up. they indicate a problem with that circuit the code relates to but you have to check it out. does not indicate a part to be replaced.
code is : natural vacuum leak detection
means you have a vacuum leak somewhere, check your gas cap, remove it , if and retighten it, if no luck try to listen for a leak when engine running (be careful of moving parts)
instead of cacelling the engine light , next time take it in and have the fault codes read
all you are doing is cancelling the codes but not fixing the problem
i hav a 2003 pt cruiser 2.2 crd touring
it wont go over 3000 revs engine light cums on.
error code p0243 i hav replaced wastegate solenoids cleaned egr valve cud it be the mass air flow sensor that has a problem
