Question about 2004 Saab 9-3

2 Answers

My 2004 saab has a severe wobble in the front end for the third time. The dealership says there is nothing wrong but worn tires. The car only has 49,000 miles on it and now I need to replace the tires for a third time. Could the problem be something else?

I have Toyota 2006 sienna and front right wheel shakes or wobbles ... I have new front tires and balanced.. but still wobbles a little...please any thoughts?

Hi Scott.
Try switching the wheels from left to right side and see if the wobble goes with it.
If not, look for a worn tie rod end or other suspension component.
If wobble goes to left side, look for bent rim.
Cheers.

Can bad axel cause front end shake

yes. if the axle is bad and binding it can cause the front end to vibrate because it gets out of balance.

My 2004 f-250 front end wobbles side to side @ about 45 mph and lopes when U turn sharp and back up. Has new tie rods. What might cause this? S.M.

Sounds like a belt shift in a front tire. Raise the vehicle and spin each front wheel while looking at the bottom surface from the front. Look for "runout" or a wobble in the bottom surface of the tire. You can also rotate the tires and see if the symptom moves to the rear

Front end and steering wheel shakes

Most common problem would be tires are out a balance. Or, the tires are out of round ( meaning the tires have a hop to it; not completely round ).

My Silverado front end wobbles at any speed, not affected braking

Couple of checks , mud in front rims will give you a wobble. Front tire cord seperation or loose wheel nuts. , Wore out tie rod end, front wheel bearing play, or a weight has fallen off the rim and it needs balancing. If it is vibrating your steering wheel, have the front end looked at right away.

Front end seems to be loose but not transmitted to steering wheel

Check the wheel balance and make sure tires are in good shape a worn tire may wobble indicating the side walls of the tire is weak ..

Good luck...
