All 4x4 vehicles do this. My 2000 cherokee does this as well. The transfer case has no provision to mitigate the forces between the front and rear differentials. The idea of part time 4x4 is that you would use it only in rain or snow or mud.You would not notice this as much under these conditions.

When I turn or go over a dip in the road it makes a pop and grinding noise

I would say it sounds like cv joints need replacing.also check bushes and ball joints for play. If ok turn steering on full lock both ways.start with full lock on right turn pull away slowly if you get knocking noise you will know it's that side is worn and then do same on left turn on full lock.

Clicking on turns left and right

CV joints may be going bad, could be the left or right, never heard of both sides going @ same time, but who knows until they get checked. Inspect the BOOTS, for torn conditions allowing grease to come out, that one would be the suspect bad cv joint, will get worst , the retainer band may have come off on outside joint throwing grease out, needs replaced, call for parts cost for the complete cv joint, one side. otherside may be ok, but be prepared in case it needs replaced also !

Front drive axles pop when turning and steering wheel shakes

You have one of your constant-velocity joints failing.
There are 4 on your car, two left and two right.
Each has a short "drive shaft" between them.
Nowadays, the cheapest fix is to replace the right or left axle as a unit ( One axle with a joint on each end).
From your description, sounds like you might consider doing them tomorrow, or maybe today.
If left untreated, thewy will come off and leave you stranded.
Also, when they fall apart, they can damage other parts.
Be blessed

My celica makes a knocking sound when i turn hard, more so when i turn to the right. the mechanic took a quicl look and said its the drive shaft. ive changed the right hand drive shaft and no change. any...

If it is a loud clicking noise it is more than likely the driveshaft, but on a right hand turn it will be the left shaft, not the right. The boot on the outer joint is usually a good indicator of whether the joint is ok, as they usually fail at around the same time. Inspect the boot on the outer joint for cracks or splits & grease loss. There could also be excessive play in the joint when the wheel is in the straight ahead position, check this by rotating the shaft back & forth while the trans is in neutral, engine off with wheel locked or on the ground.

have the front suspension checked, in particular ball joints, tie rod ends and the steering parts. if that is a 4 wheel drive it is a distinct possiblilty that one of the cv (constant velocity) joints has failed. does it sound like a clicking sound or a chattering sound (like when the abs goes on)

Winding noise and vibration when driving on front right tire

you could have more than one problem the vibration accelrating maybe an inner cv joint ,if you just had the tires replace and an aligment done they should have checked the front end for worn out ball joint and tierods but the wheel bearing may not have any movment but can still make noise
