Question about 1991 Toyota Corolla
It sounds like either the brake light switchis out of adjustment or the awitch has failed and is stuck on. The switch is located under the dash near the top of the brahe pedal arm. To replace, diisconnect the plug that connects the wiring to the switch., loosen locknut and unscrew the switch from the mounting bracket. Installation is the reverse procedure. Adjust by screwing switch until operating plunger is fully depressed without moving pedal arm and then tightening lock nut. Chec k that lights operate when pedal depressed and extinguish when pedal released.
