Question about 2002 Volvo S60
I can go in reverse, but I have a problem in drive. Delay from park to drive, then a sudden rush forward. After a few minutes, the revs go higher as the connection gets worse. Came to a complete standstill, with transmission light on dashboard coming on too.
Vibrations through the accelerator too.
Any ideas - other than a new gearbox.

It could be the thickness/condition of the fluid and if its been changed recently is it the correct fluid,as Mitsubishis are known to be fussy about the fluid they run, check the color ,it needs to be a reddish pink,if its brownish it needs to be cheanged/flushed.Of course check the level carefully, this should help sort the issue!
