check your linkages from your gear stick to the gearbox .need adjustment.and check the kick down cable ,at the throttle needing adjustment.

trouble is some cars have an idle control valve remove and clean it,others have it as part of the throttle body .in which case clean the throttle body with throttle cleaner.

check if you use e-mix fuel
if that is the case , put a bottle of methylated sprirts in the fuel tank to mix with the water from the e-mix fuel and then after running the fuel out, refill with normal fuel and a quality injector cleaner

You didn't call off the code they found but O2 sensers effect a lot of driving but not the idle. High or low fuel pressure a vacume leak an air bypass motor stuck shut or bad. are more likly . The auto zone guys are great but their not mechanics. Their story is change parts till you fix it and they want to sell as many parts that you'll buy

Your idle speed is either too low or your ECU is not sensing it correctly. The dealership would have to help with either of these. Other than that you may have a weak or bad fuel injector that is not pumping gas to the motor.

Here is the most common cause of surges and stalls and low idle rough idle, it is the idle speed control air-bypass valve and throttle valve (IAC for short), they get full of gunk over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.

Your symptoms can be from many things however I have seen this often from stopped up fuel filters in several different cars.
It could also be from very bad gas.
My suggestion is that if the car has high mileage OR you have recently goten gas from an unfamiliar service station, you shoudo change the fuel filter and put some good fuel additive in (after the new filter) to get rid of any water or other contaminates in the gas tank.
I recommend "SeaFoam". It is more expensive that others but has a very good reputation. It really works!
