Question about 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe
Cant help with a manual ,it sounds like the spigot shaft housing that the thrust bearing slides on is dirty and gummy ,now what i would do here is to see if i can get the long spout of my oil can with engine oil in through the clutch arm hole and give it a squirt ,then fit a fairly light spring between the end of the clutch arm and somewhere on the gearbox ,even if you have to make a bracket and fix it to an existing bolt hole ,this will cure your problem iam sure as nearly all vehicles here in europe are manual and in this part of europe where its dry and dusty this is a very common problem for me ,that and old people whos knees are reumaticey and they rest their foot on the clutch and burn the clutch out .Another big problem is these automatic clutch adjusters made out of plastic ¿¿ what a fiddly job to replace these are .
