Follow the top radiator hose to the motor. Unbolt the fitting the thermostat is under there seal and replace.

Replace engine thermastat on a nissan quest


If the van is a 1999 or older model the thermostat is on the side of the engine behind the belts. Not an easy job.

Heater won't work


make sure there is enough anti-freeze in the truck and if it be a while flush the system and replace thermastat and check all the fuses for the blower and if they are good and the power going to the blower is but none is coming from the blower replace the blower itself

There is no easy way, water pumps are hard to change on this vehicle. Before starting the job I would buy a repair manual with step by step instructions. To give you some idea on how long it may take, the labor time is 4.5 hours for an experienced tech.

Loss of power and misfires


It sounds like the catalytic converter. I had the same problem. What to check....after driving for a couple of miles pull over and look underneath at the converter, if it is glowing there is your trouble.
