I was hoping to get a easy/ fast answer for this place, from the experts and it did not happen.

Thanks for trying to help... give that info out, cause it does work....

Town country climate control

It's the fan resistor that's bad. It's about $20 and 20 minutes to fix (maybe bit longer to get all of the trim off then back on) ask parts house to show you where it is located.

Climate contro/fan control knob ceased and will not turn..also when removed found short circuit melting on connector

Brian, in many cases when you have a problem on a GM part such as a fan-control knob with a short-circuit it is helpful to take the part out and investigate the potential causes of this problem. Then, as you have done, I always suggest you google it and then also come to an online forum such as this to "Talk about your problems". So...Talk about, "Problems". Sometimes it helpful to take baby steps. If you're concerned about safety with the electrical issue it's a good idea to go to a dealer and get it checked out or if you're really worked up about it I would recommend a book by a well known psychologist, who often takes a vacation from his problems, called 'death therapy'. I know this is a little vague but I am currently on vacation from my problems in Lake Winnipasaki but will go into more detail when I'm back home on Fire Island.
Hope that Helps,

Climate controls wont change from vents to defrost

There may be a problem in the climate control head. The most common problem with HVAC systems of that error is a broken vacuum line. Usually the feed line to the control panel is broken or disconnected from the engine and it is stuck in defrost mode as it's the default mode. If your stuck in the vent mode there may be a broken line at the climate control panel, a broken line to an actuator or a bad actuator.

2004 chevy tahoe, dual climate control, blowing different temps

Its more then likely the temp door broken or temp door motor broken/stuck. There is 2-3 of these motors under the dash on the side of the evap/heater core box. Some require extensive labor to replace, good luck
