Have you replace the caliper? if you did then when you stop loose the bleder of the caliper and if pressure come out tie the bleeder again and haved your mechanic remove the brake master cylinder and see if there is any adjustment for the push rod or shaft behinf the master cilinder and loose the adjustment to make it short but if there is no adjustment then leave the master little loose and if this take care of it you might have a wrong master installed or just need to adjust the rod behind master good luck

Having trouble replacing rear brake pads on a 1994 Lincoln Conntinental. Purchased a special tool to conpress the wheel cylinder. Left hand threads? Tried right handed and no luck. Please help!

The tool only turns in the parking brake adjuster
(clockwise)
You still have to push the piston in.

Open the bleeder valve
You have to flush the system on ALL
vehicles every 2 years anyway.

sounds like the flexable line close to the wheel is bad.
it has plastic inside it and when they get old the plastic breaks apart and plugs the line.

Which tire front or rear? also when you say right do you mean passenger side or driver side? If you wish to say I will reply back to you as it will be different depending which tire it is and if it's passenger side or driver side.

92 Lincon rear brakes locked up

You will probably need to replace the brake lines. You should do this soon as the constant pressure will cause the rotor to heat warp. You should replace both brake lines to prevent future problems.

A common problem in the continental (my 95 had the same problem). You can TRY to reset the error. The link below lists step by step instructions for the error reset. Best of luck.
