1955 olds 88 hei ignition wiring to key and ignition system

Original system has a resistor wire between coil + and ignition key, to reduce voltage and thus increase amps to give fatter spark and increase fuel mileage. For HEI system, this resistor wire must not be used, so run new primary wire straight from switch "run" to coil +. There should already be a wire from the starter solenoid to the coil + to supply full 12 volts when cranking to give higher voltage spark to plugs to help jump the gap better for use while starting. The MSD web site has much more info.

Intermittent soft brakes, to the floor, 92 olds 88

That's a dangerous symptom. Your hydraulics need to be checked. Possibly a failing Master Cylinder or Slave Cylinder or both. Possibly air in the line, needing to be bled.

Latch cable is broke to open the hood on my 1996 olds delta 88.how do i get the hood open?

you'll have to lay under the car and very carefully try to reach up to the latch. try grabbing the cable, there should be at least a piece of it there, with a pair of pliers or vise grips and pull it. it should pop open for you.

Brake valve leaking on front left side inside engine compartment in a 1994 Olds delta 88. Brake warning light

are you talking about the brake master cylinder, leaking fluid down the fire wall in front of the drivers position? if so ,it is probably running down the inside under the carpet as well.. no matter where its from brake leaks need fixing straight away. it is probably the brake master cyl. that is leaking and it is not a big job to replace it "YOUDOIT"

Sometimes brakes goes to the floor .

if you suddenly loose brakes like that it usually an air block in main pipes, or badly overheated fluid, either way you will have to replace all fluid out of system by bleeding one at a time.

Need to bleed the clutch on 88 camry

Hello,I'm not familiar with the Camry, but usually there is a clutch master cylinder under the hood & a slave cylinder on the transmission. The bleeder should be on the slave cylimder.Open the bleeder a couple of turns & fill the resevoir under the hood & let it gravity feed.BUT,keep an eye on it and don't let it run dry or you will get more air.Tighten the bleeder & have a buddy to pump the clutch and hold it to floor. While it's on floor, open bleeder & repeat this until fluid only comes out.DO NOT release clutch until bleeder is tight or...More Air.Hope this helps.
