Hi there, This may sound like a generic answer but you may need a puller. Autozone will loan them out if you need one. Best thing to do is buy a Haynes or Clinton's repair shop manual at your local AP store for your particular vehicle. Then read up on it in the trouble shooting section or the step by step RR section. You can purchase these at your local Auto Parts store or buy them on line at ebay burdfrenzy

The starter on that engine is mounted between the cylinder heads under the intake manifold. You will need a set of injector O-rings and an intake manifold gasket set to do the job. It is not really hard to do, but a bunch of stuff has to come loose to get the manifold off.
HINT: The gasket surfaces for the intake manifold are very easy to clean up in preparation of re-installing the manifold if you use some rags and carburetor cleaner.
