Question about Hyundai Sonata
This is likely caused by a faulty drive motor in the speedometer itself. Not uncommon with todays' electronic units. If there are no shifting issues with this car, start looking in local salvage yards to get a replacement. There may be places you can send it to, to have it rebuilt.
