In reality you can run normal antifreeze in any vehicle. The key is to replace it once a year. The extended life coolants are supposed to build up less acids than the normal glycol based stuff does.(Especially important in engines with aluminum heads or blocks) BUT, since there is no such thing as a coolant filter, grit buildup can be problematic.
Better to drain and re-fill once a year...that way it also forces you to inspect everything for potential problems as well!

What's your problem?what type of antifreeze do i use r a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee

find a brand that says that it is compatable with any other brand, and that it won't harm metals such as aluminum, copper, and so on.
you can buy it pre mixed if you wish ,i prefer to mix it myself.
brand isn't important as long as it meets the requirements listed above.
unless the warenty requires it
hope this is helpfull !

What type of antifreeze is best for my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee? (I just bought it few months ago.) Thanks, Edward

Edward. the recommended antifreeze is the MOPAR antifreeze. I think the additives are the reason that you want that antifreeze.

How much and what type of coolant does a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee use?

depends on engine ,if you buy five litres of pure 100% antifreeze any colour and drain some of the rad then add this it will be ok ,if your in the artic circle then just use 100% and add neat no problem .so long as its eythlene glycol you cannot go wrong ignore the pundits with their usual brown stuff from bulls ,the colour is immaterial the basic ingrediant is all the same so it doesnt matter about mixing it at all .i live in spain on the med coast where it never freezes or gets cold and i use 100% in everything i repair ,its an anti corrosion inhibitor as well as antifreeze so just drain some off add a minimum of 2 litres and you will not be far out ,unless you in alasaka on the ice road truckers run .nice motors these jeeps as long as its a diesel with a manual gearbox .

What kind of anti freeze do i use for 2000 grand cherokee 6 cyclinder

You must use a 50/50 blend of ethylene-glycol and low mineral content water. This is the ideal solution for Jeep Grand Cherokees within your year. Don't use all water or all antifreeze. You can also use Mopar 5 year antifreeze available at your dealer but it cannot be combined with any other type of anti-freeze so your old anti-freeze will need to be flushed out.

Overheating while Eating

Bad themostat, dirty radiator (the front of it), corroded interior core of the radiator, weakening water pump, bad radiator fan.....just to name a few. More than likely? Low antifreeze level, or the thermostat.

What type of antifreeze should i put in my 2000 grand cherokee laredo

Prestone comes to mind at first but most major brands are the same. Follow directions and mix your antifreeze with water in the ratio the manufacturer recommends. Sometimes straight antifreeze is worse than hardly any. I believe most manufacturers recommend a 50/50 mixture.

I need to drain my radiator on a 2002 jeep grand cherokee

On many of these, the drain is on the right front of the radiator, sometimes requiring removal of a small panel in the grille or the entire grille. The ones I've serviced, after geting to the drain I've found that it dosen't turn. It is far easier to ignore the drain altogether and remove the lower hose at the radiator. Don't do this on a hot engine unless you like hot antifreeze baths! (I don't)
Good luck
