I would go to the local Chrysler dealer and ask. In some countries the clock spring has a lifetime warranty and Chrysler have announced a free part replacement whenever the problem shows up.

Hope this helps. Please rate the solution to help fixya serve you better in future.

The cruise control and horn do not work

It sounds like the "clock spring" in the steering wheel is bad. It makes the connections for those items on the steering wheel.

Cruise control does not work in chrystler voyager 2000

If the light doesn't turn on, it's the clock spring. Mine was broken too. Bring it to the dealer and they should replace it for free.

I have a 1998 plymouth voyager, and i just replaced the rack n pinion, and now my airbag light is on, my horn, and cruise controls on the steering wheel dont work.

behind the air bag is what is called a clock spring, it supplies power to all of those functions, chances are when the rack n pinon was replaced the steering wheel was not locked and it turned too many times, and it broke the connection behind there. so chances are you will need a clock spring. if you had it done at a repair shop I would bring it back and have them repair it.

The clock spring is located under the steering wheel, the airbag must be disarmed (if not done correctly can can serious injury) and the steering wheel removed to replace it, a dealer will charge about $200 for this repair.

98 plymoth grand voyager cruise control

disconnect battery and wait 20 minutes for safety

you need to remove the air bag (3 bolts behind the steering wheel) then remove the steering wheel 1 nut but you need a puller. then the column shrouds 3 screws under the column the unplug and replace the clock spring and put it back together.

1998 Grand Voyager horn not working, check fuse ok, relay never check.

You can check the clock spring. Remove the cover over the stealing wheel where the emergency flasher is. At the bottom there are two connector side by side. the small one on the left is for the Air Bag, the one on the right (6-7 pin connector) is for the horn and cruise control if you have one. Disconnect the right connector. Us a wire to gound out the pin in the lelft side of the 6-7 pin connector. If the horn sounds, then it is either the clock spring or the air bad itself that needs to be replaced. I would bet it is the clock spring.
