I have a short it may be the yellow wire what does it go to
I have a 2000 Nissan quest se and I need to know color code to the altenator and the harness connector that is on it there are like or 8 wires on it a green/yellow wire, black/white wire, yellow wire, white wire, I think a gray wire, and a red wire but on the male side of connector I have two white wires a black wire and a gray wire where do all these wires go

Most common is the speedometer, for you speedometer issue. As for your radio display. If the radio works but has no display, then it's a radio problem not a fuse.

First, replace bulbs and then check brake light switch, which is located near the top of the brake pedal. Use a voltimeter or test light to verify that there's voltage at the switch connector. It's not bad idea to replace brake light switch. Also make sure the brake pedal is correctly adjusted.
