#1 The squeeking is likely due to worn struts. Replace the struts. You will also get a better response over bumps. #3 Rotors are warped. If inferior quality parts were used, it will occur again. Turn all the rotors again. On the car will work better. #2 This is likely the automatic climate control module (head unit, the face you see inside the car, in the centre console). Let me know if you need anything else.

Okay....hope this helps......

#1-Front end squeek is coming from a bushing in the front end suspension....could be the rubber on your struts/schocks, balljoint, or tie rod bushings. Have to jack the car front end and start from one side to the other...a little bit of a pain to pin point.

#2-The fan selector switch is bad....which means the control panel has to be replaced.

#3-Brakes....couple of things.....brake pads may have been installed incorrectly...not seated correctly in the caliper....

Have you hit anything recently or run over a parking block or run over a curb???

I have a really bad sqeeking in the front end when bouncing up and down.

Has it rained recently in your area? Usually that would be the source since metal tends to rust after a good downpour. You should have a tire place check you suspension system checked for worn bushings if you haven't so.

Font shock sqeeks on bumps, right side only. Ride feels smooth otherwise.

this happens in many vehicles. This is the rubber bushinings. You can grease them or spray a silicone based coating on them

99 Deville rear air shocks not working.

This is an expensive repair sometimes and you may want to replace this system with inflatable air bags that fit inside the rear coil springs and then are inflated. I think they cost about $80.00 or $120.00 depending on the car.

Bouncy is front end

The front suspension, is not air managed. If the front end is bouncing , replace the front strut/shock units. Hope this helps

Squealing on the driver's side on a 1998 Ford Explorer

Perhaps a look at the ball joints and tie rod would be helpful. These are notorius on Fords and particularly on older ones with many miles. Do you have quite a bit of play in the steering wheel when turning it? Another hint.

If these are worn out, they can be dangerous at higher speeds but I can certainly understand the reluctance to replace these on an older car. I just had mine replaced at ~$1300 (you may do it cheaper yourself) but I plan ot keep my 98 for several more years ... everything is running well so I took the chance.

1998 navigator bounces if the front and knocks when you hit bumps

SOunds like a broken shock, or bad strut. Air bags or not, struts and shocks are what control bounce.

1999 cadillac deville air wont work

There's a blower motor (fan) under the hood and up against the firewall near the center of the car that takes some work to remove. It has gone out in the last 2 of my 4 Cadillacs. Turns out if you're not real careful with the positioning of the spark plug wires they will brush up against it, and if one of them gets cracked or brittle it will "arc" and short out the blower motor. The a/c compressor should still come on (you'll hear a click when it engages) but you won't get any air blowing into the cabin, hot or cold.

The part was like $200 stock (year 2000 prices) and it took about an hour to remove it. My Caddy at that time had this damn strut bar going across the engine bay which we eventually removed to get to the blower motor.
