yes its on lpg only. thats a common problem of lpg fuel system its stall when the engine is not hot becuse the lpg that supply to your engine is on lequid phase. thats cuase the spark plug not to burn it totaly. i recomend you to go to the service center where the can adjust the switching of the system. thanks

LPG fueled vehicles are inherently "cold-natured" due to the temperature drop when the "liquid" gas under pressure reverts to gaseous state causing a frost build up around nozzles and jets. The only solutions are to start on pump gas until up to operating temperature and the switch fuels, or allow the engine to warm up to operating temperature on LP gas before driving, thus avoiding the stall point.

Does this seem to be a seasonal issue? More of a problem in cold weather? You might check under the hood to insure the "preheat" tube which routes exhaust manifold warmed air to the intake air cleaner is in place and secure. As exhaust warms quickly, this provides heated air to the engine during warm-up and helps compensate for problems like yours. There are also aftermarket add-on kits that insulate and heat carburetors / fuel injection components to help alleviate the problem. And it could possibly benefit from a good tune-up done by a knowlegeable tech, if it's been a while since the last one.

Hope this is a help, and good luck!

Lpg converted engine wont run using lpg without gasoline in tank

It is normal. All LPG converted engines start with gasoline. Then when they reach 2000 rpm move on LPG system.
If you want to start directly with LPG must call a professional to modify your installation.

Car wont run on petrol but ok on LPG

Hi dave hill, not really sure on your problem but I have a VN commodore that I purchased that had the fuel pump crook and did the same thing of not starting on petrol. Owner said to hold in lpg button when starting . I got the fuel pump replaced. Mechanic said it was caused by not running petrol through enough and running always on LPG.

Running on lpg then stop turn engine off then start engine and drive 20 metres and engine stalls! switch over to petrol and runs ok switch back to lpg and stalls

check that your cooling system if full of coolant. the coolant that keeps the engine cool actually keeps the gas converter from freezing. alternatively is it hard to start of a morning when cold, if so could be butane wax build up from the gas, in the convertor.
