Question about 1994 Hyundai Excel

1 Answer

I have a 1995 Hyundai Excel Sprint. Recently I was driving the vehicle and I stopped and left it for about five minutes. When I returned to the vehicle and attempted to start it the ignition key would not rotate in the barrell. No matter what I tried to do it would not move. It is like the barrell has seized up whic has me stumpede because it was working just 5 minutes before. Do you have any idea what the problem maybe?

While attempting to turn key, turn your steering wheel to any side and it should unlock the ignition switch.

Hyundai Excel 1995 - head lights switch off when indicator arm returns to middle after turning right. I have to turn lights off and on again. When I slightly hold the indictator plastic arm in position it...

You will need to relace the entire turn signal switch. This is actually called a combination switch. Not had that exact problem with that particular vehicle, have had similar problems with other vehicles.

1995 hyundai excell sprint front left headlight not working, works fine on high beam, bulb is not blown

Bulb can be 1/2 blown. See if 1 of the 2 elements (lo/hi) are broken. That year MAY have a separate fuse for the left and right lights. It more likely has a relay.

Hyundai excel 1997 sprint

Hi, if it is an early 97 12valve engine the plugs will be accessed through between the exhaust manifold sections at the front of the motor. if it is a 16 valve, then you remove the plug leads to get access undo them, then use the lead cap to remove the plugs, ie wqhen the plug is undone, push the lead cap back onto the plug, and lift it out. you certainly would not need to remove the valve cover.
