By no brakes at all are you saying that the brake pedal goes to the floor with no resistance? Or the pedal is up like normal but is hard to depress, Or under light pressure pedal drops out from under your foot? Which one of these is the most like your problem, please describe in more detail if you need to.

Check the level of your brake fluid, you may have a leak in your brake system.
If you have no pedal pressure you could have a bad master cylinder
You may also have a bad power brake booster,

You should make sure your parking brake is adjusted up. This will give you some braking power in these type of situations.

Glad you didn't get hurt!

Check the brake fluid level and add if necessary.
Have the hydraulic system checked for leaks in the brake lines if low fluid is found.
Change pads in the front or shoes in the rear as necessary.

2003 blazer service 4 whd comes on I can't get it out of 4 whd

drive the blazer in reverse for 200 or 300 hundred meters, then try to disengage, this will work, also, take the blazer off the road, onto loose stones, sometimes the axles bind, this will allow the wheels to free spin, . then put in reverse, drive it back & forth a few times, on a dirt or gravel road, . and it will disengage .
good luck, .let me know how you get on.

2007 auto wrangler, went to put it in 4 wheel drive & the shifter moves freely & won't go into 4 wheel drive. This happened the 1st time I took it out, but there was resistance when I went to

why not RTM , read the manual

first what are you driving on, we DONT KNOW.

1: dirt. mud, grass rocks , clay, sand. off road?

2: ICE or solid snow?

3: or non iced pavement

PART time 4wd is for 1 or 2, and never 3

only AWD works on #3, or you WILL damage the drive line.

see stop driving...... here.

http://www.fixkick.com/part-time-test.html

NO, the issues is with you.

they wont tell you the truth to be polite and take your wasted cash or time.

RTM

your car has NO CENTER DIFFERENTAL

wiki 4wd, and read, its all there, all versions, and all the rules.

I have and 08 wrangler and a Japanese jeep and have had 5 jeeps now.

not one is AWD. nada. and never pretend it is.

ever.

that is what the PART means,,,,,

you can use it part of the time and never on hard pavement.

(one guy said, i can do it going straight and i said, ever seen a road that dont turn, yeah)

What causes lack of power when pulling away in toyota celica tiptronic

Hello
The engine and transmission in this cars drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM (Power Train Control Module). Whenever a problem like this occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPEDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM

Brake lights hava a mind of there own they come on when your driving . they sometimes dont work when you apply brakes and they stay on at times driveing down the road

First thing you need to do is check the stop light switch. This switch is connected to the backside of your brake pedal. Most likely you need to replace the switch. hope this helps.

Steering wheel shake when braking

The usual cause for this is because the brake rotors on your Stratus have warped slightly. In the old days, it was easy enough to simply change the brake pads and then have the rotors "turned" (machined) so they turn true. Nowadays, finding a place to have your rotors machined isn't all that easy, though you may just get lucky. It's usually around $10/rotor. Replacing the rotors sometimes seems to be the only option. You'll be able to find them at Advance Auto Parts, Auto Zone, etc., and usually run around $30/each. Of course, while you have the brake calipers removed to remove the rotors, you may want to go ahead and put a new set of brake pads on there as well. You'll notice an immediate difference in braking once you get back on the road, without all that incessive shaking to a stop!

I hope this helps! :)

Brake light flickers while driving down the road.

Check the brake fluid. It may be just low enough to occasionally turn the light on as you hit bumps and it sloshes a little. Add a little brake fluid to the reservoir and check the brake pads all around.
