Thats a wheel lock to prevent theft.
Look in the trunk, or glove box to see if there is a special tool that fits the nut.
Some times its clipped to the lug wrench

Most tire shops will have a universal locking lug removal set. You might call on your local tire shop to see if they can assist you.

Misplaced wheel lock need to change tire wheel seems to be welded on

Without the wheel locking nut socket, you may try sacrificing a normal socket which is slightly smaller than the wheel locking nut/bolt. Hammer the socket onto the end and then try turning that.
You may need to prepare a new nut/bolt in order to refit however as the locking nut will be damaged after trying this.

Yes it is a wheel lock, you need the tool or an air impact gun to get it off.

Trying to change a tire on my volkswagen jetta but on one of the nuts it has some kind of key lock on it. where can i find a tool to change my tire ?

The last owner of the car should have given you the locking wheel nut key. It is a safety measure to stop people stealing wheels.

They can be removed, but as long as you can prove it is your car, a garage/auto shop can take these nuts off, but you have to prove ownership. You can also ask the company who makes the nut for a replacement key but again, they need to make sure you own the car.

Hope this helps and please vote me up, thanks.

How do i change the back tire

Find the jack and jack up the rear just in front of the rear tire you are changing. (don't lift off ground completely yet). Using the lug wrench (also called a tire iron) break loose each lug nut.

Finish raising the vehicle just high enough that the tire isn't touching the ground. Finish removing the lug nuts, then pull tire off. Put new (different/spare) tire on, and put the lug nuts back on, and tighten by hand until tire is snug. With the car still raised, lightly tighten the lug nuts, until snug again (by use of lug wrench).

Lower car completely and tighten the lug nuts again (do not over tighten). At all points of tightening lug nuts, do so in a criss cross pattern. Start with one, then move to the one directly across from that, and so on (not all will be "directly" across at all times, so just make sure you alternate and don't go in any consecutive (clockwise/counter clockwise) order.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

How to change the flat tire? Can not remove tire off the rim. How i get the nuts off?

You're not supposed to remove the tire from the rim like with the bicycle. You take the tire nut wrench, jack and the spare tire from the trunk, loosen the nuts, lift the car up with the jack, take off the nuts and the tire, replace the tire with the spare, skrew back the nuts, lower the car down, tighten the nuts, pack everything back in the trunk, drive to the tire fix shop, get the tire fixed, change it back, keep the spare ready for another punkture.

How do you change a tire on a honda crv? I need to get the tire off the back door and change the driver side front tire. Where does the jack go?

The owners manual shows where to put the jack. I no manual sometimes there are illustrations where the jack is stored in its compartment. First loosen the lug nuts before you jack up the vehicle, prevents the tire from turning. After jacking up the vehicle finish removing the lug nuts then remove the tire. The spare tire on the door may have a locking lug nut which requires a key to unlock before removing the lug nuts. Key us usually on the ignition key ring. Remove the lug nuts and put tire on the drivers side. Tighten up the nuts on the wheel and after the car is let down from the jack, finish tightening the lug nuts.

Lost locking weel nut with a puncture how do i change it???

Depending on locking nut type.
If it's like mine, having a recessed "clover leaf channel" then you can only weld something to it like a bolt, if its an alternative nut type I.E. star or some other shape with edges, you can hammer a cheap socket over it and try that.(once the socket is shaped you can usually remve the rest and replace with new ones)

Removing a locking wheel nut from my toyota car

you need to get the wheel lugnut wrench out of the trunk or under the hood and take off the wheel cover nuts (the plastic ones you can turn by hand) Then you should have access to your wheel locks...
