How to install new brake light switch on 2008 Ford expedition

On the brake pedal arm under the dash there will be a switch with a yellow pin holding it in place. Remove the pin and remove the how it comes apart. You have to put the bushings back in the same way. You might have to rewire the connector for the switch due to design change. Good Luck

Some of the codes are located under the dash area at the steering, it will be on a white strip with 5 numbers. This is the master code and after you get this you can change the code to your own. Some are located where the jack is located.

Look under the driver's side of the dash. There is a white box that should have the keyless code on it. It is located near the parking brake and fuse box.

It should have a switch located under the passenger dash, to the far right. Switch may be red, Mine is red. Almost where your right foot sits but upward.

Door locks on Ford Expedition stuck

Look under your steering wheel right under the dash. There should be a small white strip with 5 numbers. This is your master code for your vehicle. If you bought the car used and they give you a code, they could have made their own code, but the master will override it. If this don't help, the module for the doors may be going bad.

I forgot the code to unlock the keypad on my 2003 Eddie Bauer Ford Expedition. Can you direct me to a site that gives free instructions to reset.

the only way to get your code is with a dealer computor, Check under hood as code is usually stuck to hood arm and on door frame or in glove box. It will just be a paper with 5 numbers on it. good luck.

check under dash.steering wheel area. it is usually located on a white sticker with 5 numbers. this is your master code. if not there, look at door jambs for it. it is on the vehicle, but they don't want you to know. the dash area is usually the main area.
