The transmission drain plug isn't obvious to me. Can you describe the size and location of it? (I actually see two small plugs in that area. Which one?)

Your vehicle may not have a trans drain plug. The pan drops if you have no plug.
Correct service is much better perfromed by a lube shop, with a t-tech style trans flush machine. Essentially, they pump in new fluid, (while engine running) and pump out the old, until the fluid is clean.
The reason that this is better is that you flush the torque converter, all passageways, oil cooling lines and the oil cooler.
Check your manual, the filter in the trans may also need changing. WAAAAAAY less expensive to service the trans, when compared to a fluid restriction which burns up the clutches.

if your car over 65000 km done or after last trans service is it have been done over 65000 km from last trans service as a first thing do the trans service with trans mission flush, trans mission flush is very important, it must get done by right place who have the right flushing machine for mercedes trans flushing, it's take 12 Ltr transmission oil + transmission oil filter+ oil pan gasket+ pilot bush, you must ask them to replace all those things this trans service is very important for Mercedes 5 speed automatic transmission, please get genuine Mercedes parts only don't use any aftermarket stuff for this particular transmission, and also need to check transmission control unit, the reason is if you do not trans mission service at right time pilot bush starting to oil leaking, that oil flow through wiring to transmission control unit and it's get wet by oil, if it's get wet by oil it's not functioning properly so can play transmission, other thing is if any thing dose not work for solve your problem you must get it to authorized Mercedes transmission technician to check it can be faulty oil pump or torque converter, I would like to note one more important thin regarding this matter, before do any thing please check transmission oil condition its could be mixed with water, if the oil like milky, it's water in oil, if it's like that you must replace the radiator and trans flush as I note above this is very important for your problem, is this information helped you?

How to change trans fluid on a 2005 CRV. Also , is it necessary to flush transmission?

It is best to flush the trans. Lube shops have a machine that does it. The reason, is that there is fluid in cooling lines, rad cooler, and torque converter that does not get changed without flush. My preference is to flush, then change filter.

I have an accord 96 can any one help me how to do a complete trans fluid flush at home. to remove the 6 qts of tranny. thanks

There isn't a safe way to do a complete trans flush at home without a specialized machine. The best you can do is drain and fill the trans a couple times, since on a Honda you only get out a little more than 3 quarts at a time. Be sure to use Honda fluid or Valvoline MaxLife fluid, regular dexron doesn't have the correct additives.

I need to know what should I take care of 1st with my car. It needs the following; rear shocks battery hold down tran fluid flush brake flush cap rotoe wire need replacement feul systme flush drive blets...

Sounds like you have been talking to a very aggressive sales person!! Assuming the car is running halfway ok, & without seeing the condition of anything the most critical in terms of breakdown are:

  • belts
  • brakes
  • battery hold down
  • cap, rotor, wires, spark plug
  • trans, brake & fuel flush(by the where in your maintenance manual does your car call for flushes of any kind!!) Go by what it says in your book

Please help me, My name is Kare and approximately two days ago I was trying to put water in my radiator hole and accidently put it in the oil hole, the car has been driving i just realized the error this...

Hi Kare. I would suggest you drain all the oil immediately or have a shop do it. You don't want water in there for to long or it can hurt your motor. Just get a oil and filter change. and put some water in the radiator. You should be all good from there
