Re: dodge caravan ignition sticks sometimes key won't...
Sounds like you need a new ignition cylinder. normally when this happens you can tap on the bottom of the column where the cylinder goes into it with a hammer while jiggling the key should un stick it temporarily

Try cleaning your battery terminals with a wire brush or sandpaper. You will need the proper wrench for this precedure. Retighten & start. If this fails, try taping the starter with a screwdriver. Sometimes this will free up a sticking starter selinoid. If this fails you may need a new starter. Hope this helps. Good luck!
sounds like you have a frozen lock cylinder. you can try spraying some wd-40 or lube into the key slot and tapping on the ignition and it might free up temporarily but you will most likely have to replace the lock cylinder
I had the same problem on my Chrysler Sebring but it was with the headlights staying on. The lights are on a relay called a "delay relay" of which will allow the lights to stay on for a minute after shutting off the ignition (after using your lights let's say when its dark). This of course helps provide light for you to see to walk to your house, keys, etc. But sometimes these relays stick on and just need to be replaced.
