How to program a new key with chip and other keys are lost.

Hi Rigger, If the Ranger is a 99 it will have to be taken in to dealer or independant shop that has flash programming. Even some auto parts stores have them. 98 and up have to be reflashed, I t doesn't fall under the Passive Anti- Theft or (SecuriLock) critiera. My advise to you would be to call some Independant shops or parts stores for pricing. Hope this Helps, Good Luck Randy.

How do you bypass the chip key on a 95 buick park ave. There is no dealer in my area.

You don't. Any close GM dealer should be able to get you going again, it shouldn't need to be a Buick dealer.

Where is the immobilizer located in the uplander, and can i disconnect it...because i lost my keys

Not sure where the immobilizer is located but to answer your question as to can you disconnect it NO. The key has a small chip in it that is programmed to the car the only thing you can do is have a dealer cut and program you a new key take your vin number to the dealer with prof of owner ship as they will not cut a new key with out this info.

LOST THE ONLY KEY TO MY 2000 FORD EXPLORER. HOW CAN I GET A NEW ONE?

Go to dealer and bring your proof of id and paper work for vehicle. There maybe an additional programing fee, this is normal protocol. Or try a local locksmith but make sure you tell them over the phone your vehicle info.

I have lost my keys, and that include my buick keys, is there anybody know where I can get a key made? Please help. I have a 1997 Buick LeSabre

With your VIN number and proof of ownership (title, insurance card, etc.) any Buick dealer can cut and program a key for you. Any Chevy, Cadillac, or GMC dealer should be able to take care of as well.

Cant measure resistance, lost my only key!

Your key has a transponder in it and it needs to be programmed at a dealer. The on board computer is mated to the key and if you add a key, you must have all keys present and programmed at the same time. If you are close to a dealer you can give them the VIN number and they will be able to cut you a new key. Then if the shop foreman has time, he may come to your car and programme the key(s) for you. Other than that, you need to tow the car to a dealership. Hope this helps

Bought a valet key for 2000 Buick (lost original ignition key). Tried the sequence explained to me by dealer but does not work. What else can I do?

The only 2 options you have at this point are as follows, Hope to some higher power you find the key, or take it to the dealer and have a new key cut and chipped, im sure that it has a securilock system, that makes it tough, Although the key itself isnt very expensive, you have to have a key cut by code, There is a special code designated to your key that can be looked up by the vin number of the vehicle and can be cut and programed that way.
