Question about 2004 Ford Freestar
A 6" C-clamp should compress the brake cylinder, the cylinder will have to be compressed fully or it will not allow you to install the new pads onto the rotor. if the cylinder is not compressing then you may need to be replaced. Hope this helped Tim
